SIMPLE CANDLE

While dogs have approximately 300 million olfactory receptors compared to our paltry six million, sometimes all we smell is… dog. (Cats, we’re not giving you or your litter box a pass on this.) We took it upon ourselves – actually, for ourselves – to create two beautiful blends, LOTUS BLOSSOM + MANDARIN and RED CURRANT + KUMQUAT.

Each candle is hand poured in Venice, California, by a master candle maker, using coconut soy wax and the most beautiful blending of our favorite festive scents. 9oz tin vessel.

While we wouldn’t trade a minute – not even a wet dog minute – of life with our beasts, sometimes it’s nice to give our six million olfactory receptors a break.

CANDLE CARE

Wick Care: Just like normal wicks, wooden wicks need to be trimmed! Make sure to keep your wick between 1/8” and 3/16”. You can use scissors or a wick trimmer.

Safety: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time and make sure to never let it burn unattended. We love our beasts, but please keep them away from the candle when lit. We recommend to place your lit candle on a heat resistant coaster/surface to prevent the possibility of heat damage.

When to Stop: If your candle only has 1/4"-1/2" of wax left, DO NOT BURN IT– It's time to get a new one. Lighting a candle with only 1/4"-1/2" of wax left can cause the jar to overheat.
